Check the Space Behind the Old Bath
The old bath may hide unfinished walls, damaged boards or pipes that need altering. The new shower needs sound surfaces and properly prepared joints.
Using the length of the bath can create a longer shower, but the drain and screen position still need checking.
Decide Whether You Still Need a Bath
Think about everyone who uses the room and whether there is a bath elsewhere. Keep the bath if it remains useful; choose a shower if that better suits your daily routine.
